Oct 3, 2005 Nutty, chocolatey, caramel malt aroma has notes of dark fruit. Clear copper coloured body is topped by decent white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Nutty, cocoa flavour with some caramel, toffee and the lightest hints of butterscotch. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005.

Aug 16, 2005 Bottle. Reddish with OK head. Sweet malty nose. Apricots and a bit of flowery hop notes. Mediumbodied and soft with a nice hop bitterness. Typical Fullers flavour.

Jun 3, 2005 Top marks for presentation in the glass. It has a pleasant depth of orange amber and a clean fluffy head. The nose is of dried fruit and toffee that gives a good hint of what is to come. But then, what happened to the flavour? Thin and astringent without any real body and character. Its a rate even if I don’t rate it.
