chriso (4667), London, Greater London, England Sep 2, 2005 Updated: Dec 3, 2005This seems to appear every year at Ealing Beer Festival and, sometimes at other festivals as well. But the name changes as Fullers are a bit coy about admitting what it is. The extra alcohol isn’t really apparent. It certainly tastes rather like London Pride, but I thought it was, if anything, a little less fruity. As it is, this scores lower than regular London Pride, but that might be more down to the conditioning than to the beer itself. I’d really have to taste them side by side to get a decent comparison.
duff (5474), Surrey, Greater London, England Aug 18, 2005 Cask@Ealing Beer Festival. It tastes like slightly stronger Pride and nothing else. Touches of caramel, toffe, with some leafy citric hops in the finish, medium bitterness. Nice enough. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Aug 17, 2005 Cask (Ealing): Mild amber with small white head. Caramel toffee nose. Sweet caramel, mild bitter finish. SOme fruity notes in the aftertaste. Nice session bitter.
