Sweet honey aroma with hints of a cheap wine. Copper appearance with a thin off white head. Rich flavour, full of character with a complex taste. Almost Christmas in a bottle but not quite. Smooth finish.

Nice, dark amber and a good head. The aroma is very malty. The flavour has strong notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts and a slight vinous character. Initially it’s sweet and smooth, but then the bitterness falls in as a nice counterweight to the sweetness. Nice.

500ml bottle. Creamy and nutty aroma, a rich ruddy brown ale. Warming full-bodied taste - hoppy body with long lasting nutty aftertones.

500ml bottle sampled at a rating session in Tromsø. Clear mahogany body. Almost no head. Smoky smell of roasted malt. The flavour has got dark caramel notes and nutty hints. Flat and dry ending, slightly bitter. And as Finn said, we need something stronger for the Arctic frost (23.02.2007).

Bottle 0,5l. Dark brown coloured. A small white head. Caramellish aroma. Dry flavor of caramel and fruits. A long, dry aftertaste. Quite enjoyable - but not strong enough to be a proper winter warmer (right now it’s -10 deg C outside).

Bottle. Clear reddish brown, off-white head. Fruity, earthy, slightly roated and a little sweet malt character, balanced by spicy hops and a pleasant bitter finish.
