Bottle. Fantastic butterscotch, caramel aroma. Nuts, cream, butter. Great. Almost hazy red-brown colour, head disappearing. Nutty, walnut, butter, saltyness in the taste. Great bitter but not sharp finish.

Clear reddish brown with a quickly diminishing head. Heavy malts, nuts and caramel in the aroma. Flavour is a bit watery but quite pleasant, brown sugar and everything from the aroma is found in the flavour. Mild bitter aftertaste. Well balanced ale.

Bottle: a copper red colour with a thick white head, a deep earthy aroma, a rich taste, with caramel, malt, nuts, and spiced fruit, leaving a long lasting bitter fruit aftertaste. Warming and satisfying.

Bottle. Brown to red colour with very big off white and rather foamy head. Aroma is spicy with anise, peppers and toffee. The flavours spread nicely and give some warmth. Not particularly sweet nor bitter. Very full mouthfeel.

Red copper ale with a thick light moka head. Light sweet caramel malt with light figuy notes. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light hopping, and sustained metallic harshness, and burned caramel. Light alcohol in finish. Sweet fruity esters in remnant but overpowered by the burned character. Bottle was BB 24/09/05. Bottle bought in England in Feb. 2005.

Nice roasted, caramel aroma. Dark amber colour with off-white head, limited carbonation. Superb nutty flavour with some sourness and a nice hoppy aftertaste. Superb winter warmer.
