Copper brown with a medium off-white head with some lacing. Nutty malt aroma with some flowers and dried fruits. Sweet malt flavour, but with a good bitter (grapefruit) finish.

Poured from the bottle, a clear brown with a good frothy off-white head. An earthy malty aroma with hints of sweet caramal and slightly smokey. The flavour has sweet caramal again with hints of stewed plums. A smooth mouth feel initially, giving way to a strong bitter and dry finish. OK, but I prefer the Youngs Winter Warmer.

Bottled. Sweet vanilla and plum cookie aroma. Especially great just after pooring the beer in the glass. Brown color, beige head, fair lace. Sweet start, light bitter at first but very bitter finish, lots of spices, raisin, hint of vanilla, dry finish.

Bottle: Pours with a clear, dark amber body and a medium, relatively short lasting, beige head. Spicy, hoppy and malty aroma. Pleasant light sweet flavour with caramel - some hops are precent too and notes of chocolate. Light to medium bodied. Nice bitter, lasting finish. This beer is well balanced and enjoyable.

Copper colored - with honey or maple syrup in the smell. Also some metallic and burnt flavors. A Very acidic bitterness in the taste with some candy sugar undertones. Lingering hop taste on the tongue.

Dark amber color, little beige head. Hopped, bitter, mildly sweet and caramelly aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor starts with sweet caramel hints, ends with medium hopped, oaky and bitter tones. Medium length in bitter and dry aftertaste.
