Dark brown. Full mature aroma. Small head. Had this beer with a meal of meatballs made from reindeer mince and spiced with juniper berries, and that was a perfect match. The juniper flavor is evident in the beer also, together with a marked bitterness and a littlel bit of sugar, just enough to enhance everything else. Fuller’s never seem to disappoint me!

Pours a clear brown/red with a diminishing white head. Sweet and bitter. Very malty with aromas of caramel and pepper. Lots of bitter hops. Medium bodied. Bitter finish.

Malty and somewhat bitter. I found it a touch watery and although it was nice I was a bit disappointed.

Pours dark amber with a thick, creamy tan head. Hoppy, toffe-ish, caramel nose. Smooth flavour from chocolate, hops and malt. Some nuttyness too. Burnt notes in finish.

Bottled. Dark copper coloured mediumsized brown thick creamy head. Strong malty nose with hints of caramel and cookies as well as a bit of roast. Strong roasted malt in flavour along with some hops in finish. Caramellish hints also there as well as weak plummyness. Quite pleasant, but the roastflavour is a bit too aggressive.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown, clear beer with a thick, creamy head. Extremely malty and full-bodied with a marked bitterness. Loads of toffee and caramel flavours. A neat winter warmer. 081001
