Deep brown beer with a creamy beige head. Heavy malty aroma with a caramel/ toffee sweetness. Nutty caramel malty flavor with a light bitter finish.

Bottled. Dark copper coloured mediumsized brown thick creamy head. Strong malty nose with hints of caramel and cookies as well as a bit of roast. Strong roasted malt in flavour along with some hops in finish. Caramellish hints also there as well as weak plummyness. Quite pleasant, but the roastflavour is a bit too aggressive.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown, clear beer with a thick, creamy head. Extremely malty and full-bodied with a marked bitterness. Loads of toffee and caramel flavours. A neat winter warmer. 081001

Malty almost fruit cake aroma. Someone said rustic and I agree. Initially toffee, almost butterscotch, that developes into chocolate, burned sugar, malts, nuts and then the hops kick in. Surprisingly bitter, this one. Taste lingers long in your mouth and some residual sweetness can be licked from ones lips.

Aroma: malt (roasted), yeastm sourish and tasty, burnt sugar, chocolate toffee, mineral and fruity. Warm, roasted brown and clear w/ a white-beige head. Sweet bitter, appearant hops, metallic. Mouthfeel: thin and still rich, pretty low co2, good, but not fantastic. Much malt, bitter aftertaste. Nutty (not because they say hehe).
