May 16, 2005 Bottled. Amber brown. Malty/caramel aroma and taste, with a little bit of fruit/nut. Quite mild hop finish.

Apr 3, 2005 Bottle from Sainsburys. Brown, with a beige head. Sweet, coco pops aroma. Oooh harsh, stinging malt flavour. This is only 5.3% - where does the seawater bitterness come from? Some clippings of a sweet body before the salt finish kicks. I have to say this does get better, but still it’s a bit harsh. Maybe.

Mar 20, 2005 Bottled. Dark almost ruby coloured beer with a strong head. The aroma is hopped and slightly caramel and the flavour is very strongly hopped with a long dry caramel finish. Overall a well structured beer.
