Aroma similar to optimator; heavy fruit flavored maltiness. Taste is a bit smoother with a hopiness that nullifies the fruity malt aroma. Not a drain poor, but nothing to write home about.

Seconds please! This beer is deep and rich with lush figgy and fruitcake aromas. I love this beer. It is a simple assessment, but this beer fit my mood aptly.

Bottle at home. Reasonably still, mid brown. Nutty malt, some hop balance but nothing more.

Bottle. A really good amber ale with a sweet, malty nose and flavor with a mild hop finish. A very good beer.

Beautifully sodden toffee, fruit cake and house spiciness aroma chewing with succulent dried fruit, caramelised malt, berry fruit juiciness, hop resins, hazelnut and yeast. Quite a sniffer, it’s got to be said. Brilliant chestnut beer with a honeycombed white head. Caramel slickness, lush dark fruit and toffee leading you right up the garden path expecting nothing but sweetness, then comes a hammer of bittering hop, and another layer of buttered white toast, honey and Crunchy Nut sweetness lingering for an age and leaving you gasping for another slug. Great length as they say. Slick, lacy and fizzless. Nibble of herbal hop spice. Big juicy sipper/swigger despite the pasteurisation. I like it.

Ser inte mycket ut för världen, men överväldigar med en komplex smak som omfattar allt från rågbröd till russin. Lagom stor beska och en fyllighet som ligger bra i munnen. En vinnare helt enkelt.
