Pint pulled at The Red Lion in Barnes (London), a pale golden colour with a very thin white head. A sweetish aroma, but the honey is not overpowering. The flavour isn’t so much honey, but more a sweet pine. A light mouthfeel though with a good level of bitterness.

Cask: Clear golden appearance, moderate head formation. Restrained aroma, honey, tea. Mild palate, light and easy drinking, sweet honey and lemon, a touch of licorice spice, dries moderately in the finish but lingers well in the aftertaste.

Cask at the Counting House in London. Clear gold. Minimal white head. Nose is faint fruit, malt and grains. Taste is stronger fruit, light honey, sweet malt, and grains. Mouthfeel is moderate to full with minimal carbonation feel. Somewhat slick going down. Finish is sweet with very light hop character.

Draught. Golden coloured, honey aroma. Honey is the dominating flavour, some maltiness. Too much honey, not balanced at all.
