The aroma is very faint but a little sweet. The flavor is smooth, slightly fruity with notes of honey ending on a nice bitterness, though it vanishes pretty fast. A very light beer - probably a great summer beer. The notes of honey is very fine without being too much. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Cask (Fox and Hounds, Chiswick): Golden, lazy carbonation, small and persistent foamy layer; light sourish-grainy nose; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, maybe with a tinge of acidity; light to medium bodied; becomes fuller (!) bodied in the sweet-malty finish, when honeyish and hoppy influences are detectable. All in all O.K. , but quite unexciting........ chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2003 Honey is quite noticeable in the aroma and, to a lesser degree, on the palate, but not overpowering. However, it was little sweet and not really to my taste, although perfectly well made. Although I tried a pint out of curiosity, I soon reverted to London Pride. Handpump, Old Bank of England, London WC2, May 2003. Incidentally, make sure you visit this pub if you are in the vicinity.
