| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Pours a nice golden colour with a slight orange tint to it, and a small white head. The aroma is sort of non-distinct malts, maybe some hops, a little corn, some skunk too (I’ve found that to be typical of this style). The initial flavours are just malts, kind of simple, but nice. Followed by some corn, then a tiny hop bite. The hops seem to be somewhat non-existent, and alcohol comes through in the finish as well. The aftertaste is really where the honey becomes evident, but I suppose it could also be contributing to the smooth and thick(ish) body and mouth-feel. Over-all a decent brew, I have yet to find a golden/blonde ale that I really like a lot though. goozen (1061), Leiden, Netherlands

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 23, 2007 Another great specialty brew from Fuller’s. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin lace head. Melony nose with the same palate but slightly watered down. Finish is bubbly, soft and sweet. A refreshing beer! rederic (1810), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2007 Bright golden color, with a big white head, but falls quickly, and leaving laces, wet hay, with a honeyed pale malt nose, with a flowery hop note, a faint fruitiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a a crisp sweet honeyed pale malt character, with a faint floral hop, hint of fruitiness, leading towards a malty, honeyish, subtle hoppy finish. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Bottle, Doric Arch. Barman asked me if I wanted ice with it... Clear golden strwa, thin filmy white head. Nose is hoppy. Some honey and floral tones. Mouth is overcarbonated with some sweet disjointed honey. Fizzy taste and a hop/malt balance. Touch of metallic.
