A beer for my wife. She love it, caused by the honey which is truely represented in the aroflavor. Otherwise metallic, sticky, flowery and good on a hot day. Its light and refreshing, and the honey notes come through without being cloying, the body is a little thin. The golden colour is very attractive in the glass. A good drinking beer! petermadsen (391), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark Dec 9, 2006 Golden with small disappearing head. The aroma is hoppy with hints of citrus. Soft taste with light malty background and some hops. cleansing bittterness.
It’s overcarbonated and would have been better with a softer palate.
Not very interesting and not as well-made as Fullers other brews... larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Dec 5, 2006 Medium creamy white head; yellow body. Light sweetish honey aroma. Light, soft sweetish honey taste as well. Dryish finish. Resiny notes. Harmonic and delicate. Honey flavour is a welcome addition to the beer, and complements the taste nicely. Quite good. (0.5l bottle.) Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Nov 29, 2006 courtesy of DomTom - slightly hazy blond colour, solid white head; good presence of honey and lemon in the aroma; high carbonation and some acidity hide the rather thin malt body; short acidic, honeyish finish tomthompson89 (1455), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 26, 2006 bland boring, was expecting bigger better things from fullers, now this belongs in a can. anyways nice amount of head, somewhat mild and smooth but no real noticible intresting characteristics joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Nov 26, 2006 Clear gold w/ a white ring of foam. Aroma of honey & caramel malts w/ grassy & floral notes. Light, slightly buttery feel. Flavour is honeyish & sweet w/ mild, spicy hops in the finish.
