bulldogops (153), Alberta, Canada Sep 11, 2009 Bottle at Metro. Clear golden pour with a decent white head, medium retention. Aroma is honey, floral. Taste is extremely bland, grainy and very little honey taste to speak of. Very boring golden ale. JulienHuxley (166), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada Sep 5, 2009 Bottle. Not much to say here, looks, smells and tastes like honey all the way (a tiny bit of floral hops). Do they have any to put on toast?
Quack-Duck (3129), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany Sep 4, 2009 bottle, Waitrose Abergavenny. Clear golden colour, mid-sized head. Aroma of honey. Malty, hints of honey and aromatic hops in the finish. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Aug 9, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear golden body with small white head that disappears. Aroma and taste are subtle honey. Allen (1285), Switzerland Aug 3, 2009 Bottled 50cl. Clear pale golden. Very poor nose with metal, boiled vegetables, honey, apple and chestnut showing up. Really dissappointing taste. Overly sweet and metallic. No bitterness. Unpleasant. Almost undrinkable- a drain pour. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England Jul 26, 2009 Keg at the Bank, Clapham, 20th July 09. Clear gold, large bubbles, small white head. Slightly honeyish but overall rather bland. Was the end of the barrel, so will re-rate. floydian1 (257), FNQ, Australia Jul 23, 2009 Bottled. Pasteurised. A clear golden beer with a small loose transient white head. Aromas of golden malts, restrained honey and light fruity hops. The taste is similar with a nice balance between the honey malts and gentle citrus hop finish. Medium-light bodied with low carbonation making it easily sessionable. A good uncomplicated summer ale. gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 23, 2009 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is hint of honey, malt, fruit. Flavour is hint of honey, malt, fruit, hop. Ordinary beer.
