tiggmtl (4307), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 22, 2006 Plenty of honey is apparent in the sweet, lightly grainy aroma along with some floral, herbal, grassy hops apparent. Clear, deep golden coloured body is topped by a low white head that recedes to apartial cover with some sudsy lacing. Plenty of honey and caramel with floral and herbal notes and moderate finishing bitterness. Medium light body with strong carbonation that engages the tongue. Mild buttery diacetyl emerges as it warms detracting from overall enjoyment. Tumbler. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (BCLS on Commercial, Sep-06). Diogène (543), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Sep 19, 2006 Bottle from LCBO. Pale golden with a quickly vanishing medium white head. Light honey aroma with malt and spices. Not too sweet, notes of hydromel and malt, minimal bitterness in the aftertaste. Not the best product from Fullers, but nice try. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Sep 17, 2006 Draught Blond color. Light honey aroma; stranger flavor; quite mellow; some sweetness. Smooth. stouby (1932), Holbaek, Denmark Sep 12, 2006 Bottle at home.
Golden with a white head. Aroma moderate/heavy malty with notes of honey, light hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, light bitter. Light/moderate body, soft carbonated. Really fine. pubbe (493), Højbjerg, Denmark Sep 7, 2006 Not much colour - faintly golden yellow with mostly diminishing head. Odd aromas hinting at decomposing hay/plant-litter and yeast. Sweet honey in the initial flavor, watery on the mid palate and a sweet finish. A somewhat one-dimensional beer - to little hops and glycerin to balance the impression. GonZoBeeR (2156), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada Sep 3, 2006 Aroma, light perfume and commercial nose...
Appearance:Clear gold,huge white head..
Flavor:Sweet honey flavor,light malt,watery... yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Aug 25, 2006 500ml bottle, 5% a/v Nice Bottle!
Pours a beautiful rich gold colour with a slight white head. The nose is of malt and honey with perhaps a hint of citrus.
The taste is also very honey based. This is actually the first honey beer ive had in which you can completley taste the honey. A very clean and refreshing aftertaste with just enough hops to make a perfect balance. This beer is damn good!! fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Aug 25, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear light gold colour with a creamy white head and some carbonation. The head disappears quickly, The aroma of honey hits as soon as the bottle is opened. Taste is not surprisingly dominated by honey, with some hop to balance.
