pivnizub (4949), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Sep 11, 2005 Bottle: pours deep golden with a thin, quickly diminishing head; big honey in the nose, also caramel, dough, cookies; smooth, "a taste of honey" combined with a tinge of bitterness; light bodied, quite low carbonated; shy aftertaste with a "medical" touch,a tinge of honey and bitterness and some citrusy overtones. Good, but a bit flat..... GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland Aug 25, 2005 [bottle from saimsburys] nose is sweet, with some floral hops and faint honey notes. body is a little harsh. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Aug 25, 2005 Aroma is slightly honey and suprised as alot of british honey beer doesnt taste or smell anything like honey. Taste is sweet and lightly refreshing. One of sainsburies better fullers ales. scotty (828), Scotland Aug 23, 2005 Good clean golden colour, head a bit thin, but lasts well. Light and very refreshing, not cloying but clean and almost fruity, a slight honeyed sweetness coming in on the finish, delicious. Youngs should taste this and then improve Waggledance! Asda Edinburgh JohnBarleycorn (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 30, 2005 Light, light amber in colour with a peculiar phosphorescence in certain light. Aroma and flavour profiles are nearly identical, with each exhibiting round malt and sweet, slightly floral honey. The palate is nice and creamy. Pretty good stuff, especially for a honey beer. turbothy (717), Bonn, Germany Jul 20, 2005 Light amber colour, small head. Aroma is one-dimensional honey. Flavour is sweet and a bit cloying. The aftertaste is slightly skunky. Not my favourite Fuller’s, but not a bad beer. DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Jul 15, 2005 Bright orange amber, sweet malt aroma. Malt up front, soft honey tones, very mild hoppy bitter finish, slightly carboardish. Really nice! vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia Jul 5, 2005 15 Oct 2004 - Melon aroma and a pleasant hoppiness. Clear amber colour, poured head, but loses retention and suds lacing. Gentle melon fruitiness, a bit thinnish, slight bitterness and a strange aftertaste.
