| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Big dissapointment. Orange/gold beer. Poured a decent ammount of rocky white head that went down to a film quickly. Very light on the bubbs. Aroma was good - nice biscuity malts, but my nose could barely detect the honey. Taste was a huge letdown. Suprisingly yucky sharp bitter hops, some honey and I swear I could taste dirt along with a mystery flavour that I’ll try to identify next time I have one; if I do. This brew hit my mouth too hard. Seems sour but isn’t. Very rough feel to it, light bodied...ick. Strage bitter finish. Bottle says there are zesty hops - I’d agree 100%. I think I drank this too cold. Needs a re-review. Cirrhosis (616), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Pours a light honey brown with a tiny cap that was reduced to little more then spotty bubbles at the top of my glass after ten seconds very boring uninteresting beer that gave spotty lacing at best. Smell is very sweet and fruity, a floral aspect can also be detected in the aroma, I think most of the fruitiness can be traced back to hops mixed with honey but that’s just my guess. Very bready tasting, malts are abundant in this brew, the sweet berries that you notice in the smell also come through in the taste, my god there’s so much bread in this flavor. Beer is ok just a bit boring, it’s strange I think I can taste a lingering melon aftertaste but I’m not sure if that what it is or am I just being influenced by the bottle. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 28, 2009 Bottled. Sparkling golden, coarse disappearing head. Honey candle wax nose, metallic notes, sugariness, biscuit malts and slight herbs, pretty mild. Balanced honeyish flavor, herbal hops, a tad rusty, soapy finish. Medium bodied, low lush carbonation. Boring golden ale with some honey on top, guess this could be a bit more adventurous. It’s not really even refreshing. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
