Fruity, clean nose with notes of grass and honey. Fruity, clean and fresh taste with honey, hints of grass and citrus in a fairly short finish. Not very bitter and not overly sweet. I often find these honey beers a bit too sweet, but this one was actually quite nicely balanced and refreshing. downender (2634), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Vine leaf and earth cask aroma has some malt and some nice notes of roast beef wheat. Clear, orange amber body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Sweet wheaty malt flavour has hints of good bandaid. Medium body. Drinkable, even fine warm (but not for long), maybe +1 for organic. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 27, 2006 Bottle, LCBO Summer Release. Medium yellow, small white head. Sparkling, tons of bubbles. Light malt and strong horrifically cloying honey in funk aroma that almost made me not want to try it - it isn’t off or bad, it is just awful. Light malt, golden ale taste, certainly has a malt or yeast quality that instantly reminds me of "Fullers". But that terrible cloying honey from the aroma resurfaces and ruins what would be a nice summer ale. Very disappointing and almost undrinkable. GregClow (2515), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2006 Bottle. Clear, bright honey-golden with a large white head. Mild, fresh aroma of honey, hay and earthy malt. Body is on the thin side, but it works OK for this beer. Flavour is simple but fresh and pleasant - biscuity malt, honey sweetness, and a subtly hopped finish. A fine warm weather beer. Mungo (2473), Southampton, Hampshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2006 Bottle (from Sainsburys, BBE Sep 06). Main aroma is of biscuity malts and cream crackers. Honey becomes noticeable whilst drinking. Fairly dry at times but with some bursts of overly sweet caramel and honey flavours. Lacking in balancing hops both to counteract some of the sweetness and to add interest to what gets fairly boring. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
