Commercial Description:
Available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round.
Organic Honey Dew is the UK’s best selling organic beer. Light and golden with a zesty edge and a bitter-sweet flavour, Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that is Soil Association approved as 100% organic.
Served chilled, Organic Honey Dew offers both refreshment and an unbeatable taste. The real organic honey in the brew gives a gentle sweetness that appeals to a wide range of people, even those who perhaps wouldn’t usually drink beer, making it a very popular choice!

Bottled, 0.5 liter BB june 2006. Dark golden coloured, slightly hazy appearance. Honey dominates in aroma, some malts and vanilla, perhaps even a hint of aniseed. Very sweet flavour, low on bitterness, little carbonation. Finishes very sweet, pure honey. Nice beer if you have just one, but could get boring after having a few in a row. Thanks to my girlfriend for taking it along from London.

(on bottle)A kind of disapointment to me ´cause I wanted to make a "Bumble Bee" for my bar and is looking for a honey beer to match the champagne. But this is a vague beer; very weak, sweet nose, and no honey at all. Ther´s some fatness to the finish, maybe the honey is there? Has the perfect coclor for a Classic German Pilsner.

Bottle. No head, no lacing, nice golden, honey appearance. Honey aroma (strangely enough). Some carbonation and taste is somewhat of honey! Pretty damned good.

(Draught on 2008-08-14) Pale amber. Clear. Medium-sized white quickly disappearing head. Malts and honey in nose. Medium to full-bodied palate, slightly oily and sugary, little to medium in carbonation. Malts, honey, hints of raisin and bitterness in taste. Bit too sweet.

Bouteille de demi litre. Jaune doré assé bien, beau collet qui disparait vite. Arome de miel et de malte faible. Goût très légé, persque pas de miel. O.k. pour l’été mais pas plus.

Bottle. Pours clear golden color with a medium bubbly white head that diminishes quite rapidly. A rather fresh aroma of hops (with some herbal hints), flowery notes and honey. Sweet flavor with a big honey character, some malt, hints of caramel, some fruitiness and a mildly bitter finish with some hops. Medium-bodied. A bit too much honey sweetness for me to really enjoy, but still not bad at all.

Bottle. Limpid golden body with good carbonation and a thick off-white bubbly head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with easily discernable honeyish notes. Taste is good, but lacks complexity as it is dominated by maltyness and breadiness. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Average Blond Ale.

Keg at the Bank, Clapham, 20th July 09. Clear gold, large bubbles, small white head. Slightly honeyish but overall rather bland. Was the end of the barrel, so will re-rate.
