Commercial Description:
Available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round.
Organic Honey Dew is the UK’s best selling organic beer. Light and golden with a zesty edge and a bitter-sweet flavour, Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that is Soil Association approved as 100% organic.
Served chilled, Organic Honey Dew offers both refreshment and an unbeatable taste. The real organic honey in the brew gives a gentle sweetness that appeals to a wide range of people, even those who perhaps wouldn’t usually drink beer, making it a very popular choice!

A fine example of one of my least favourite styles. This avoids the cloying sweetness that mars so many honey ales. It pours a gold colour with the huge, lasting head typical of Fullers’ ales. The nose is sweet and zesty. Strong honey characters underpinned by malt. It’s a crisp and refreshing brew with a lip-smacking hoppy body. Green apple characters. The target hops provide a nice balance to the sweetness of the honey, so that the latter is never overpowering. (Bottle)

Gold orange crystal clear with a small yellow-white medium lasting head. Medium strong floral honey nectar aroma with hints of caramel and faint bitter hops. Medium thin body with smooth mouth feel. Well balanced woody hop and mild floral honey sweet flavours. Honey is not too strong, in fact it’s not that much stronger that many other floral flavoured non-honey ales. Dryish wood bitter finish and slightly sweeter aftertaste. Nice.

This is a little sweeter, but not obviously honey based. Their only beer with New Zealand hops, but not noticeably hoppier. I was not sure what difference to expect in an all organic beer ... I liked it, but their 1845 is still my favorite. I tasted this one at the brewery, and it was not the first or the second beer I tasted today, so by now I may be a bit unreliable. I did manage to buy a nifty red shirt at the brewery and a couple of bottles of their vintage ale (!) so all in all a day well spent.

Bottled. Golden amber body, initially frothy white head diminishes steadily. Slight honeyed aroma, the sweetness more apparent in the taste. Honeyness doesn’t go overboard. The label says it’s "the perfect alternative to continental beers". Yeah, right...

A clear orange colored beer, with big white head. The aroma of honey, flowers with a little caramel. The taste of malt an a little hop bitter. There is sweet honey . It’s dry. The aftertaste is a little bitter with sweets.

very nice for a honey beer. unmistakeable fullers taste from the hops i think - a dry, herbal sort of aftertaste that"s made even dryer by the honey. not too much sweet ickiness and oiliness from the honey ilke some other honey beers. i don"t mind it.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amberish golden with a diminishing white head. Sweetish malt and hops in the aroma. Slight milky notes as it warms. Flavour is malty. Notes of cereals. Faint hops. Malty finish with a bit of honey notes. Milky notes as it warms. Kind of boring. 30-11-08.
