This poured me a very foamy white head - boiled over the edge of the glass, but shrank away to virtually nothing within only a few minutes. The colour was a nice amber, with a slight cloudiness. Aroma was mild with perhaps a trace of honey. Taste was mild without excessive sweetness; mouthfeel was clean and the aftertaste was pleasant. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 3, 2006 Straw body and colour. A bread heavy - wheat drink. Lots of grains in the aftertaste. The smell has a hint of sugarcane and is a bit sweeter. Did Canada request this? Did we need something to meet the stupid LCBO requirements? Anyway. This is not typical of fullers. Sweet, bittersweet flavor with some honey/ flower notes. Decent. Medium to light mouthfeel, balanced, fizzy and refreshing. A bit short aftertaste. Flowery/ sweet aroma with a touch of fruit and a slight bitter note. Ok, nice but a bit artifficial blond ale. tlind2 (604), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 19, 2008 500 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste has plenty of malts as well and the honey comes through mostly in the finish.Quite sweet, but has just enough bitterness to reach a sustainable balance. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Surprisingly I found I liked this beer. Golden yellow, nose of honey, yeast and citrus. Some carbonation. Flavour was subtely sweet and a touch of bittterness ensured it was not sickeningly so. Slayer85 (584), Firenze, Italy
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 25, 2007 Bottled. A golden/orange beer with a small white head that disappears quickly. The aroma is honeysh with some light herbal notes. The flavour is very sweet and malty with much honey and little hops. Not unbalanced, but too much on the sweet side for my taste. The aftertaste is not much long and strong, however not bad. An average ale. Not the best from this brewery. Diogène (562), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 19, 2006 Bottle from LCBO. Pale golden with a quickly vanishing medium white head. Light honey aroma with malt and spices. Not too sweet, notes of hydromel and malt, minimal bitterness in the aftertaste. Not the best product from Fullers, but nice try.
