Good, but a bit flat..... madsberg (5044), Søborg, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 20, 2007 (bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Light-sweet aroma with pale malt-character, lemon-fruity and zesty spicy notes, accompanied by notes of honey and traces of hops. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Malty base with honey coming through from the middle part and stays present to the aftertaste, which is fortunately just moderately sweet. I liked the rather restrained honey-character combined with a moderate sweetness. Decent brew. yngwie (4974), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Bottle, from Sainsburys. Best before 21 April 2009. One of those Fullers bottled beers that I have had in the past but not got round to rating, until now. Mid gold colour. The honey is very prevalent in aroma and flavour. Quite soft mouthfeel. Unfortunately, there is a slight papery element, presumably arising from the pasteurisation, which rather compromises the overall impression. Nonetheless, although I am no great fan of honey beers, this was drinkable enough.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 8, 2004 Hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are honey with melon and some sulphur. Flavours are weak honey with some fruit. Inoffensive but very dull. So...dull. Not as good as I thought it would be. maeib (4748), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 14, 2004 Bottled. Sweet smell where the honey comes through. Very golden in colour. Taste is also sweet with honey coming through together with notes of caramel. This beer is more warming than you might expect, and is one of the best honey flavoured beers out there.
