Aroma and flavour profiles are nearly identical, with each exhibiting round malt and sweet, slightly floral honey. The palate is nice and creamy. Pretty good stuff, especially for a honey beer. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Plenty of honey is apparent in the sweet, lightly grainy aroma along with some floral, herbal, grassy hops apparent. Clear, deep golden coloured body is topped by a low white head that recedes to apartial cover with some sudsy lacing. Plenty of honey and caramel with floral and herbal notes and moderate finishing bitterness. Medium light body with strong carbonation that engages the tongue. Mild buttery diacetyl emerges as it warms detracting from overall enjoyment. Tumbler. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (BCLS on Commercial, Sep-06). haf (333), Gijon, Spain

Pale gold. White lacey head that thins and clings to the glass. Distinctive, grainy, english malt aroma that always reminds me, somewhat, of a rich single malt whiskey. The nose definitely hints at sweetness with a good note of honey and a touch of orange. Flavour surprises me with a strong orange undertone right through the malt and only a little in the way of honey. Decent malt evidence in the medium-light weight and soft mouthfeel. Hoppy little kick through the middle and on the palate with strong orange and lime, some floral notes come through later. Very nice summer quencher that NZ mainstream breweries would do well to learn a bit from. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Totally clear pour. Malty ale like taste with just a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. Dry compaired to other Honey beers I have had. Rather pleasant. esox (273), Oulu, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Bottled. Clear, golden to copper-coloured beer with a small and foamy head. The aroma is quite malty, sweetish, honey and clover flowers. The honey is clearly detectable in the finish that has also light hoppiness. The flavor is malty, honeyish and quite sweet. Minor bitterness in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, refreshingly carbonated and smooth. tlind2 (605), Helsinki, Finland

Taste has plenty of malts as well and the honey comes through mostly in the finish.Quite sweet, but has just enough bitterness to reach a sustainable balance. sound67 (215), Offenbach, Germany

Sweet fig aroma, low carbonation. Taste is honey and citrus fruit, with some malty bitterness. Smooth honey-bitter finish. A most agreeable not-so-soft drink - not too sweet, not too bitter. Of course, it’s not your every day beer. But it just goes to show that Fuller’s never put out a bad brew. :=)
