The nose is filled with mild grassy hops but does have some filler between the malts. SPicy honey sweetness with some crisp hoppy bite. Very subtle, but was pretty good as an up north fishing beer. Spritzy finish, with some hopping present in the finish. Summer beer for sure. JFURYCAT (792), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2006 500ml Bottle: Pours, oddly, honey in colour with no visual carbonation and an ok head that left decent lacing and never quite fully retired. Aroma of sweet malt, cereal, wet grass, and some hops; emphasis on the wet grass. Flavour is very watered down and somewhat delicate, moreso than I’d expected in the somewhat strong scent. The cereals really come through here, and the honey hits on the aftertaste. I did, however, find it well balanced. Drank it in the appropriate glass and was hit on all three levels of the palate at once. Still, too watery and drab for my tastes. davidpl (435), Santiago, Chile
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Appearance: amber orange color. Low head, beige color and not much persistency.
Aroma: pale malts smells, floral progress from hops. Ripe and some citric fruity, like apples and papayas. Some similar to the honey. Floral smells with reminiscences of chamomile.
Flavor: sweet start from pale grains; tones of honey, vanilla and sweet-fruits like papayas and white grape. Medium to low hoppiness, but persistent. Honey aftertaste and some sauco touches.
Palate: light to medium body, soft texture. Light carbonation.
Nice but mediocre for Fullers.

A sweet honey and almond flavour. In fact, the taste reminds me of a Toblerone bar. Finishes with just a hint of bitterness. Medium bodied. Personally, I would have liked a little more malt.
