Organic Honey Dew is the UK’s best selling organic beer. Light and golden with a zesty edge and a bitter-sweet flavour, Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that is Soil Association approved as 100% organic.
Served chilled, Organic Honey Dew offers both refreshment and an unbeatable taste. The real organic honey in the brew gives a gentle sweetness that appeals to a wide range of people, even those who perhaps wouldn’t usually drink beer, making it a very popular choice!

500ml Bottle: Pours, oddly, honey in colour with no visual carbonation and an ok head that left decent lacing and never quite fully retired. Aroma of sweet malt, cereal, wet grass, and some hops; emphasis on the wet grass. Flavour is very watered down and somewhat delicate, moreso than I’d expected in the somewhat strong scent. The cereals really come through here, and the honey hits on the aftertaste. I did, however, find it well balanced. Drank it in the appropriate glass and was hit on all three levels of the palate at once. Still, too watery and drab for my tastes.

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold colour with a creamy white head and some carbonation. The head disappears quickly, The aroma of honey hits as soon as the bottle is opened. Taste is not surprisingly dominated by honey, with some hop to balance.

500ml bottle - pours clear gold with a medium white head that eventually became nothing at all. Aroma is very malty, a little bit earthy, and with a sort of mildly unpleasant funkiness that I can’t quite put my finger on. Honey comes through more in the flavour and the beer gets a bit sweeter. Aftertaste is sweet with what I’m guessing is the honey and malt and lingers nicely. Body is light. It’s drinkable, but this isn’t really my speed. It’s pretty boring and what is going on just doesn’t really do it for me. My least favourite brew from Fuller’s for sure.

Appearance: amber orange color. Low head, beige color and not much persistency. Aroma: pale malts smells, floral progress from hops. Ripe and some citric fruity, like apples and papayas. Some similar to the honey. Floral smells with reminiscences of chamomile. Flavor: sweet start from pale grains; tones of honey, vanilla and sweet-fruits like papayas and white grape. Medium to low hoppiness, but persistent. Honey aftertaste and some sauco touches. Palate: light to medium body, soft texture. Light carbonation. Nice but mediocre for Fullers.

Bottle in London. Golden colour. Malty and sweet nose, of honey of course. Taste of honey and sugar and fruits (citrus). Bitter finish.

It looks like floating honey! Although it is not that fat : ). The smell is like the look: An obvious smell of honey, and other naturally sweeteners reaches your nose without problems. The beer is medium-bodied, has a lot of honey, a little of malt sweetness, and a little of hops, but it isn’t very well balanced. However, I don’t think it is supposed to be, because the honey HAVE to be obvious. The aftertaste is with honey too, but also with some hops. I think it is personal whether the honey becomes to much or not, and therefore it is also personal whether you think this is a good or a bad brew. You can’t say it is brewed in a bad way if you don’t like it, because it is really supposed to taste like this. Personally, I think it is a great brewed beer, but boring allthough it has a good and powerful honey taste.

A light golden beer, with a pleasing aftertaste of honey. When served in a pre-chilled glass, it’s extremely refreshing with an unique taste.

Bottle (from Sainsburys, BBE Sep 06). Main aroma is of biscuity malts and cream crackers. Honey becomes noticeable whilst drinking. Fairly dry at times but with some bursts of overly sweet caramel and honey flavours. Lacking in balancing hops both to counteract some of the sweetness and to add interest to what gets fairly boring.
