Real refreshing and a good choice for a session beer; a nice prelude to full bodied styles coming up next. swiseman (210), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada

I didn’t expect much from this, but was pleasantly surprised. tried on a warm end-of-winter day, so it helped that it reminded me of spring. redletter (8), England does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2004 A very clean, refreshing beer with summer flavours. Nicer to drink when its hot than most lagers, it doesnt have too strong a flavour or leave you with a mouth full of hops or bitterness when your trying to escape the summer sun.
a seasonal drink, and a very good one. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Clear golden strwa, thin filmy white head. Nose is hoppy. Some honey and floral tones. Mouth is overcarbonated with some sweet disjointed honey. Fizzy taste and a hop/malt balance. Touch of metallic. wanderingman (54), Guelph, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2006 Great golden body to it with good carbonation and a pur white head that turned into a thin lacing fairly quick. Aroma is subtle with a bit a fruit, hops, grains and a hint of sweetness. Taste is quite mild and smooth. Not very complex with some grains, malts, bread and a very little bit of hops. The finish is the key to this beer. Very smooth and slightly sweet with the honey showing through in the end. Probably one of the best honey ales I’ve had to date and would be great on a hot day. Perfect for someone just getting in to drinking beer.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2007 A golden yellow beer with a quickly diminishing head. Aroma starts out with some floral hops, but as the beer warms the more the aroma becomes primarily honey. The flavour is dominated by honey, with a malty finish. Another above average beer from fullers. JesseM (678), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Pours a nice golden colour with a slight orange tint to it, and a small white head. The aroma is sort of non-distinct malts, maybe some hops, a little corn, some skunk too (I’ve found that to be typical of this style). The initial flavours are just malts, kind of simple, but nice. Followed by some corn, then a tiny hop bite. The hops seem to be somewhat non-existent, and alcohol comes through in the finish as well. The aftertaste is really where the honey becomes evident, but I suppose it could also be contributing to the smooth and thick(ish) body and mouth-feel. Over-all a decent brew, I have yet to find a golden/blonde ale that I really like a lot though. dj (422), Gloucestershire, England

Sweet hoppy aroma with a touch of malt. A nice sweet, quite hoppy taste with hints of honey and hay. Slightly bitter and sweet honey finish. Not as much honey or malt as I would have liked, but a quite drinkable ale nonetheless.
