The honey is slightly noticable in the aroma, but gives much abrupt bitterness to the taste, slowing it of with its sweetness. dj (422), Gloucestershire, England

Sweet hoppy aroma with a touch of malt. A nice sweet, quite hoppy taste with hints of honey and hay. Slightly bitter and sweet honey finish. Not as much honey or malt as I would have liked, but a quite drinkable ale nonetheless. JesseM (668), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Pours a nice golden colour with a slight orange tint to it, and a small white head. The aroma is sort of non-distinct malts, maybe some hops, a little corn, some skunk too (I’ve found that to be typical of this style). The initial flavours are just malts, kind of simple, but nice. Followed by some corn, then a tiny hop bite. The hops seem to be somewhat non-existent, and alcohol comes through in the finish as well. The aftertaste is really where the honey becomes evident, but I suppose it could also be contributing to the smooth and thick(ish) body and mouth-feel. Over-all a decent brew, I have yet to find a golden/blonde ale that I really like a lot though. Camrakipah (15), Birmingham, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 14, 2008 Cinq cent millilitre (Short changed-Pint) bottle from Sainsburys. Sweet, slightly floral/fruity aroma and a nice golden appearance. Flavour is sweet, slightly hoppy and fruity without being overwhelming. Lingering taste is not too bitter and kind of reminds me of summer (may it return speedily and in our times!). Enjoyed this ale and would quite like to try it on draught. Sweet fig aroma, low carbonation. Taste is honey and citrus fruit, with some malty bitterness. Smooth honey-bitter finish. A most agreeable not-so-soft drink - not too sweet, not too bitter. Of course, it’s not your every day beer. But it just goes to show that Fuller’s never put out a bad brew. :=) esox (267), Oulu, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Bottled. Clear, golden to copper-coloured beer with a small and foamy head. The aroma is quite malty, sweetish, honey and clover flowers. The honey is clearly detectable in the finish that has also light hoppiness. The flavor is malty, honeyish and quite sweet. Minor bitterness in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, refreshingly carbonated and smooth. tlind2 (604), Helsinki, Finland
