courtesy of DomTom - slightly hazy blond colour, solid white head; good presence of honey and lemon in the aroma; high carbonation and some acidity hide the rather thin malt body; short acidic, honeyish finish

Bright golden colour with a foamy white head. Some fruit and a hint of honey in the nose with some grass. The body is smooth and lightly bitter with some roasty hops. faintly sweet and a bit grassy, a nice ale.

Golden ale with a thick white head, collapses quickly. Has the bottle is opened, honey comes out right away, very pleasant. Sustained honey with grains in aroma. Nice malts, with light sweet honey in mouth, with some light hops, and creamy mouthfeel. Decent honey beer. Thanks to Piscator.

(Rating #779)

Bottled. Clear, golden to copper-coloured beer with a small and foamy head. The aroma is quite malty, sweetish, honey and clover flowers. The honey is clearly detectable in the finish that has also light hoppiness. The flavor is malty, honeyish and quite sweet. Minor bitterness in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, refreshingly carbonated and smooth.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste has plenty of malts as well and the honey comes through mostly in the finish.Quite sweet, but has just enough bitterness to reach a sustainable balance.

50cl bottle. Minimal white head, golden amber colour. Sweet fig aroma, low carbonation. Taste is honey and citrus fruit, with some malty bitterness. Smooth honey-bitter finish. A most agreeable not-so-soft drink - not too sweet, not too bitter. Of course, it’s not your every day beer. But it just goes to show that Fuller’s never put out a bad brew. :=)
