An autumnal favourite, Red Fox is tawny red in colour and bursting with delicious malty flavours. Brewed with toasted oats which lends distinctive biscuit notes and a mellow aftertaste.

A Mes rate: Cask at whatever the hell Fullers have called the Head of Steam now. How dare they! Blackcurrent and malt in the nose. Red brown colour with no head. Malt and toffee flavour with a hint of alcohol. Unexpected hoppy finish. Thin in the palate. Yawns. Nothing I can get excited about.

Cask at the General Havelock, Wycombe Marsh. Brown beer with a soapy head. Sweet malt, slightly thin with some cereal character and background bitterness. Nothing special.

Good colour & nice white head. Quite light on the nose, with only a hint of citrussy fruit coming across. Lots of malty flavours on the palate, with a rather dry, slightly sharp acidity on the long finish. Not as hoppy as I expected, but a good, fairly well balanced brew overall.

A nice reddish beer with a very pleasant mouthfeel. The only thing that stops it from being a very good beer is its thiness which becomes more noticable the longer you drink it.

Deep tawny hue with a thick creamy off white head. Rich toasted malt nose. This is a well balanced beer that has a fruity biscuity flavour. However it lacks complexity and is a little thin.

Tops! Big malty aroma, clean caramel/toffee. Amber in colour. Nice sweet start with a balanced mid and mild dry finish. Smooth medium mouthfee. Great session beer.

Dark caramel beer with a very hopped, very dry aroma with a touch of caramel. The flavour is like wine with quite a dry and burn’t toffee touch. Overall quite a good premium beer.

[Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus] A deep red beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of lingonberries and hops. The flavor is crisp with notes of ligonberries, nuts, and hops with a dry end.
