Brown sugar, raisins and toffee on the aroma, which I quite liked. Good hops as well. Toffee dominates throughout. Smooth i mouth with toffee hop on end. Fine, quite drinkable and I quite like Fullers bottled beers especially the stronger ones Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2005 Bottled. Picked up a set from sainsburies of fullers autumn rage. This had this honeydew and some other warming fellow, but it also had LONDON PORTER! so look out for it if your in the shops. Aroma is almost dominated by a honey smeel mixed with malts and i can see the oats also. Taste is not as full as aroma, with a decently bitterness on the finish, though goes well with the aroma. A different to usual beer from fullers, however within the next week im sure the porter is about to blow it out the water! maeib (4772), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 19, 2004 Bottled. A real red tint to this otherwise brown bitter. The aroma has some fruit but is a bit non-existant. There is some sweet caramel in the taste but is far too thin and unexciting. Really needs to sampled cask conditioned methinks. leaparsons (4755), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 28, 2004 Bottled. I had this beer some time ago, but my rating vanished. Oh, well - got to force another one down! Deep russett red in colour with a small off white head. Aromas are sweet and biscuity with some floral hops. Flavours are biscuit malts with nuts and berries - especially on the finish. Floral and ethereal on the finish with hints of ginger rather than especially dry or bitter. Not as good as I remembered it, but I was young(ish). SilkTork (4191), Rochester, Kent, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2004 Bottle. Chocolate notes. Very drinkable. More interesting than the London Porter because of the wider range of flavours and experiences. The carbonation is a little prickly at first, and once burned off the beer tastes flat, but that is typical of Fuller’s non-live bottled beers. Not a great beer, but drinkable. rauchbier (3004), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2004 Bottle, from Sainsbury’s. Deep amber, good lasting white head and low condition. Good mix of caramel malt and hops in the nose, soft and malty sweet in the mouth with a vague suggestion of digestive biscuits, more caramel and gentle hoppiness. Caramel and pleasant hop bitterness in the finish

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2004 Pasteurised and/or filtered bottle. Into a Fuller’s Pint Glass. Pours clear as anything, deep brown with a red tinge and a loose off white head that subsides quickly. Aroma is toasted grains, bread & fruit. Flavour is very nice, a lot more going on here that you might expect, toasted oats, bready & biscuity. Notes of fruit, yeast & somewhat apparent alcohol. Not much in the way of hops, but well balanced and a good beer. TheGrandMaster (1877), Auckland, New Zealand
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Bottle, poured a darkish copper with an off-white bubbly head. Aroma was fruity and malty. A light smooth mouthfeel, warming malt flavours with a fruitiness in the background. Easy to drink and enjoyable.
