Aroma of corn, toast, Saaz hop, peach. Stale cardboardy thing from pasteurisation - these thinner beers don’t stand the pasteurisation so well. Vaguely refreshing but there are other beers out there which do it better. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

Taste was slightly sweet but seriously lacking in alot of things. Not one to try again unless its on draught. GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 6, 2005 [bottle from magic_dave6] pours a pale yellow colour with a small head which disappears quickly. Smells of burnt toast and metallic butterscotch, some sweet notes of something unidentifyable as well. Body is stingingly fizzy. All in a really disappointing beer from a brewery im usually a big fan of. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 31, 2005 I know, wrong season for this one, but what can a rater do? Obviously from the bottle this one presents well as golden ale should. The wheat clearly imparts a certain fruitinesss to the flavour wth banana being the domnant one to my nose. The flavour is good but the promise of the 100% saaz does not translate into the experience you expect. No real cleanness of flavour nor freshness of mouthfeel. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2005 Bottle purchased at the Bier Garden in Portsmouth, VA on 1-8-05. Gold body with a huge foamy golden head. Nose is malty with bread and fruit. Taste has some sourdough notes, ripe fruit (mango and banana), but has some stale maltiness. Body is medium with a decent carbonation feel. Finish is more fruit, malt and dry breadiness. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 7, 2004 Bottle. Golden with small head. Grass, oil, corn, lager-ish ale. Not the best Fullers imo. TC2642 (265), Worcester, Worcestershire, England

quickly. Quite pleasant easy drinking beer, some slight maltiness which does way to a subdued hop flavour. Does what it says on the label. Hansen (2285), Randers, Denmark
