| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2004 Bottle, from Sainsbury’s. Gold, good but shortlived white head and low condition. Good chalky, piney hoppiness in the nose, thin but refreshing in the mouth with the chalkiness and the hops again dominating some low sweet malt. Finish is hoppy and slightly dry.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 14, 2004 Bottle. Old gold coloured. Moderate white head, that disipated quite quickly. Aroma is hops with some fruit. Taste is hoppy wth some fruit and a yeasty aftertaste. Thin on the palate. Not bad, but not one of Fuller’s best. It did get better on warming up. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 29, 2004 This brew has what reminds me of apple pie in the aroma. Though, it is a rather uninteresting brew. Watery and mild flavour and finish. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2004 Bottle Waitrose, Hall Green, Birmingham. Very pale lemon colour, with a loose, fading white head. Quite a malty aroma, with pineapple and citric quality. Very malty flavour - a real fruitbread aftertaste which lingers like wet cardboard: flat and persistent. Some citric fruit in the mouth initially, but this disappears quickly. Fairly refreshing in the mouth, but the finishlowers my opinion of this slightly and it ends up being slightly plain. Albeit as refreshing as intended. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Thin beers do better for me with a slightly bitter bite and this one is sweet caramel. A good choice if you don't want any mouthfeel in your beer. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 21, 2004 on tap in the uk and brought back some bottes: this is a nice summer beer, refreshing and light. however, at the fullers pub in london they serve it chilled or room temp (which at the time was not cellar temp). i suggest the chilled version. warm malt flavor with the classic blend of wheat to give it the sweet honey like finish, lightly hopped... easy drinking here! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2003 Hazy yello-gold color with wispy head and spotted lace...Aroma is light but with unmistakable Saaz presence...The flavor is suitably light, again showcasing the lightly spicy Saaz calling card, with trace contributions from the malt profile...Body is medium-light, better than many in this class of brew...This is by no means one of my favored styles, but Fuller puts its characteristic stamp on this effort, and produces an above-average product for this style...
