Commercial Description:
Pasteurised bottle.
Light, smooth, and refreshing, Summer Ale is pale gold in colour, and at 3.9% alcohol by volume, an excellent quaffing ale. It delivers a flavour most lagers can only dream of, thanks to its all-malt brew (containing malted wheat), and 100% Saaz hops, a Czech variety found in the best pilseners. Like Organic Honey Dew, it should always be served chilled.

Bland-o-rama. The saaz finish really saves this from a super poor rating. Not much taste at all. Nice dry grassy finish.

See through yellow. Foamy head. Lemon, grass, sugar nose. Mild bitterness with banana and spice. Some skunk notes in the finish.

Has a bit of a spicy aroma; light copper color with a fine sticky head with good lacing. Flavor - just a tad phenolic - but does not ruin it. Also detect some spices - cloves, cinnamon perhaps. Not refreshing as the label states. More akin to an Irish Ale - not one that one would reach for in the summer to quench your thirst in the summer. Gets better as it warms up though - good trailing bitterness.

A "pale" comparison to a summer blonde. Hard too really define this beer, just overall bland. Needs to be consumed nice and cold. Refreshing yes, but that's about it.

Light amber color with a small dense head of off white tiny bubbles. Mild hops and malt aroma - light and balanced. Doughy flavors with a light bitter finish. Smooth and unassuming.

A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, honey, and bees wax. The flavor is also sweet - too sweet for me, and with notes of honey and bees wax. The honey makes the mouthfeel sticky. The end is dry.

Bottled at the Danish Beerfestival 2003: Light golden. Not much head. Elderflower is present in the nose. Has a fresh summerly charachter. Dry aftertaste. Thirstchruncher. Dull beer.

Clear orange color, with a small white head. Not really any definable aroma besides some sweet malts. Clean lightly bitter ending. Very boring, as most I find most blond ales to be.
