Dry and ligh bodied with a distinct, firm mouthfeel. salty and bready with a finish that mixes orange and bitterness. Another solid, if perhaps unexciting beer from Fuller’s. A fruity, nutty and sweet bitter with a buttery diacetyl touch in the aroma and in the flavour. Not very interesting. Ungstrup (15259), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and fruit giving it a very slight spiciness. The flavor is also sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and spices - it might be the molasses that gives it the spiciness, though I can’t pick out the molasses. Nice. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2005 Wallington Festival. Touch of diacetyl is the only interest in this dull as dishwater bitter. Lack of hop bite and a dreary dull malt.
