Cloudy amber color, persistent head (small). Nice malty aroma, caramel. Good malty taste, some sweetness, nice aromatic hopping, caramel and very light sweet liquorice. Very pleasant.

Jan 16, 2006 (Cask, The Wharf, Aalborg) - Amber colour. Roasty, caramel nose. The taste is pretty soft, with a unmistakeable molasses stickyness, and a slightly dry fruity finish.

Deep red, thin loose head. Mellow and sweet nutty aroma. Taste matches quite well - but the nuts head towards almonds and marzipan. Sweet and very drinkable.

Mar 5, 2008 Cask (handpump) @ Christian Firtal, 5000 Odense, Denmark. Clear medium to dark amber color with a samll, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (260108)

Oct 29, 2005 Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Brownish amber. Resiny hop aroma. Dry and ligh bodied with a distinct, firm mouthfeel. salty and bready with a finish that mixes orange and bitterness. Another solid, if perhaps unexciting beer from Fuller’s.

Oct 24, 2005 [Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and fruit giving it a very slight spiciness. The flavor is also sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and spices - it might be the molasses that gives it the spiciness, though I can’t pick out the molasses. Nice.

Dec 3, 2006 Cask. Amber, quite hazyish colour with small, but longlasting off white head. Aroma is caramel, roast and flowery hops as well as a bit earthy. Flavour is wood, caramel and fruity hops. Light touch of licorace and roast once it gets a bit warmer (served at 10 C)
