Bottle No 126617 pours red amber clear with a decent and lasting head and lace sheets. The aroma is caramel and citrus. The flavor is like orange marmalade on fresh biscuits with some orange peel accents. The palate is rich and smooth. This could be classified as an ESB and rate well. Overall, I like this a bunch.

At $8.75 a bottle this came in a box and the bottle poured a nice cloudy rich amber color with a light tan head and some sticky lacing rings. Nose of caramel malts and some citrus hops, backed up with odors of ripe fruit. Quite a tantalizing odor. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy. Flavor was very rich and finish long and dry. I found this quite drinkable and enjoyable and every bit as good as the 2007 version.

Bottle (500ml). No. 28965. Pours a clear, bubbly orange-amber with an average to large size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Slightly mild aroma of fruity malt and a significant amount of alcohol -- malty and fruity is mostly all I’m getting from the aroma along with a bit of sugar coming through afterwards. It’s nice though. Sweet, malty flavour with noticeable alcohol, biscuit and some hops in the finish. Not as complex as some previous years past but still a very fine beer.

Bottle 37667. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aromas of caramel, red fruits, nuts and orangey hops. Flavour was also sweet, with tastes of digestive biscuits, more caramel and fruit, a touch of vanilla and some juicy hops, leading to a moderately bitter finish accompanied by a touch of warming alcohol. Very enjoyable.

Amber color, creamy head. Good malty aroma, grainy. Malt flavor and caramel, quite sweet, well balanced, richer than other recent vintages. Will try it again.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour, thin white head that leaves some lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malts, fruits and a hint of alcohol. The flavour is caramel-malty, fruity (raisins, apricots etc), a little sherry-like. Nicely warm and bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied, smooth and a little buttery. Very enjoyable and balanced.

Bottle no 28352 Hazy amber colour with big fluffy white head. Big fruit rasin aroma. Fruit loaf with hint of bread flavours. Creamy mouthfeel. Very pleasant.
