Endnu en øl fra min svoger. En ældre flaske som måske kunne være mere frisk. uklar mørk gylden farve, men et nydelift skum. Tydelige dufte af frugt og blomst, og en sød lang bitter eftersmag.

Cloudy dark amber with a big frothy off-white head. Malt and biscuit, some figs, some port in the aroma. Sweet and malty flavour with some fruit and some warming alcohol. A very fine barley wine, but with no stand out features.

(BBE 2/08) Dark coppery colored with cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. BW aroma with raisins and strong sweetness, some caramel and mild cardboard also here with mild alcohol. Medium bodied. Flavor is weird with overly sweet caramel and some unclean cardboard, raisins and glue here also with some added sugar, nothing like very good.

Draft. A deep red beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of fruit - dates, prunes, and peaches, as well as light notes of nuts and alcohol.
