Moolesen (13), Netherlands Oct 23, 2009 50cl bottle. Amber colour. Some fruit was present in the nose. Taste is for a Bock beer not exciting enough. I would expect more. larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Jun 24, 2009 Medium yellowish beige head. Dark red body. Faint alcohol aroma, otherwise nothing, which is quite an achievement. Dryish-sweetish earthy wooden malty taste with perfumy peppery notes. Mid-to-full body. Dry roasty caramel and paper aftertaste with toffee and wood notes. Spicy. A bit subdued, but with some subtlety to make up for it. (0.5l bottle brought by Stine from CPH.) charlotte (1997), Vanløse, Denmark Feb 10, 2009 Dark reddish colour with small white head.Aroma is sweet malty and has some note of´berrys, feels soft and light bitter but overall a o.k beer. TaxiDriver (908), Stadland, Germany Dec 29, 2008 Bottle. Sweet and strong malty smell, the alcohol is also there. The head is very small, fizzy and dark white, very fast disappearing. The body is dark red. The taste is very malty, bitter and quite long staying. Not much carbonation, medium body and dry. trapez (766), Hilleroed, Denmark Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Aroma ripe fruits and some dark chocolate. clear deep redbrown colour with small white head. TAste of ripe fruits with a hint of grape fruit and brandy which adds some bitterness. Low carbonation. Pinball (2693), Allerød, Denmark Nov 18, 2008 aroma is nuts, alcohol, lagered beer. My impression from the aroma is strong mainstream cheap ale. appears clear amber, very small white head. very nice color. flavor is sweet, malths, "beer" , quite smooth, bitterness is a bit harsh. way better than aroma though. overall it’s yet one of those beers i can’t figure, and then the label was like 90% words describing the water they are brewing with, and THREE WORDS ONLY describing the part of the beer that is not water. (Extra strong pilsener). information on that label is far from balanced, and same goes for the contents. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark May 27, 2008 Bottle. Large beige creamy head that really lasted. Good display of lacework left in the glass. Clear light sparkling body with a pale amber color. Aroma of mild bread, toasted malt, grain, hint of hoppy notes and fruit. Over the palate came lovely caramelized malt, smooth grainy feel as well. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor and light bitterness. Mild bread and grain somewhat lingering finish. Quit nice and very drinkable. Marthinus (115), Denmark Apr 28, 2008 Golden ambered colour, and a nice simple bitterness, but all to sugared and swwet, also in aroma
