0.5 l bottle. Dark amber color with creamy long lasting head. Malty, caramelly, toffeish and slightly fruity aroma. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, toffee and some fruity bitterness.

Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin-lacing wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel and German lager yeast character. Body starts fairly full and semi-sweet with some milk chocolate notes and a more bitter, drier doughy finish. A pretty interesting bock that’s fairly true to style, although maybe a little more bitter.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very pretty bronze colour, clear and filtered with a rather small head. Very full-bodied, very malty with lots of malt sugars and a subdued bitterness. A solid and potent brew if not exactly sophisticated. Closer to a Doppelbock actually. 090105

Light reddish colour. Light malt, chocolate and sweetness in the aroma. Flavour matches the aroma; sweetish, fruity and malty.

Bottle. Large beige creamy head that really lasted. Good display of lacework left in the glass. Clear light sparkling body with a pale amber color. Aroma of mild bread, toasted malt, grain, hint of hoppy notes and fruit. Over the palate came lovely caramelized malt, smooth grainy feel as well. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor and light bitterness. Mild bread and grain somewhat lingering finish. Quit nice and very drinkable.
