Bottle. Clear golden amber colour, almost like a brown ale.. thin pale beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts and hops. A bit spicy fruit finish. A weak IPA but a fine brown ale. Fur tries to make money of the Tall Ships Race 2007, without being an official sponsor. Poor Fur.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat unclean caramel aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet caramel notes and - again - a somewhat unclean malt profile. The finish is dry but with a rather unrefined hop character. 110507

Draft. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lightly burnt notes, leading to a slighlty bitter end. Where is the hops - to me this is not an IPA, but still an OK beer.

Tap. Pale amber with a small lacing head. Aroma is a touch smoky, with caramel and a little hops. A little watery mouthfeel. Hoppy taste, but far too mild - a little woodyness as well - quite boring.
