Draft. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lightly burnt notes, leading to a slighlty bitter end. Where is the hops - to me this is not an IPA, but still an OK beer.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat unclean caramel aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet caramel notes and - again - a somewhat unclean malt profile. The finish is dry but with a rather unrefined hop character. 110507

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours orange. Aroma is dry malty. Flavour is slight roasted malt, dry and almost like rye bread. Dry malty and tart bitter finish. IPA...?

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Clear bronze colour, no head. Vague grapefruit aroma. Sweet and cardboardy with clean malt profile and medium body. Vague resiny finish. Simplistic hard malt character, very little hops. Not good.

Draught @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Clear amber color with a small fizzy fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, light hoppy, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Missing some IPA tast more malty ...

KØ07. Weak aroma. Clear copper colour. Has some hop flavour, slightly rough. But not very IPAish. OK mouthfeel.

Draught at Cokney Pub, Århus
Hazy amber color. The aroma is light, uninteresting, even smells of dirty water and eggs (or is it the glass?). The flavor is ordinary, close to an English IPA, the malt (and cereals and caramel) almost wins over the hop; the hopping is partially aromatic. To try again, with better luck for the aroma.
