Ungstrup (11708), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 17, 2007 Draft. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lightly burnt notes, leading to a slighlty bitter end. Where is the hops - to me this is not an IPA, but still an OK beer. Papsoe (11073), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 17, 2007 (On tap) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat unclean caramel aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet caramel notes and - again - a somewhat unclean malt profile. The finish is dry but with a rather unrefined hop character. 110507 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden May 16, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Clear bronze colour, no head. Vague grapefruit aroma. Sweet and cardboardy with clean malt profile and medium body. Vague resiny finish. Simplistic hard malt character, very little hops.
