Light brown color, off white head. The nose is malty with a touch of mineral. The sweet malty mouth has hints of pine and caramel. Light bodied and alcohol is well hidden, malty sweet finish.

(Christmas brew:) Dark copper with white head. Nutty, malty and sweet. The texture is OK filling. Little carbonation. The finish is at first sweet but ends up with being a bit bitter and dry. This was quite OK!

50 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Dark reddish brown colour with a nice tan head. Malty aroma with notes of chocolate, caramel and some spice. Very tasteful and nice flavour of sweet malt, spice and caramel. Ends up a little dry but nice.

Nothing real special, but expencive. Brown. Medium head. Not much aroma. Flavor has a good malty note, but it’s a bit too thin.

Bottled: Amber coloured. Clear. Dense beige head. Liqourice, light spice (cloves) and light caramel in the nose. Flavour is similar. Some hoppy notes, chocolate and a light sweetness. Is quite bland, but has a medium body. Could use a bit more power in the flavours and aromas IMO.

Bottled (BB 07/2006)
Red ruby color, medium-sized tan head. Ashy, grassy, malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, roasted, slightly chocolaty, alcoholic and sugary. Bitterish finish - maybe it is more like from alcohol than from hops. After bitterness fades, you get light grassy hoppy flavor. Decent winter bock.
