A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is quite light with some spices among them anise. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, spices, cloves, and alcohol.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt - a very typical Bock nose. Medium-bodied with good and solid notes of roasted malt. A light sweetness and a whiff of smoke. Discreet hoppiness in the finish. Solid, but not very christmasy. 200606

50 cL bottle. Pours dark amber with light brown lasting head. Malty aroma with caramel and some spice notes as well. Taste is bitter and sweet, hops and roasted malts. I sense a smoke note too. Bitter aftertaste - seems a bit watery. Average.

Light brown color, with a brown head. The nose is malty with a touch of mineral. The sweet malty mouth has hints of pine and caramel. Light bodied and alcohol is well hidden, malty sweet finish.

Bottle at EsBF09. Mild creamy and faintly roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Very small head. The flavour is mildly roasted and nicely so. Has a good dark maltiness, creamy and good with a hint of horse stable.

Bottled, thanks fonefan. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is metallic, caramel malty, slightly earthy with notes of wet dog. Flavour is roasted malts, some caramel as well as quite bready. Dry dark fruit and some wooden notes as well. Long grassy and roasted malty aftertaste. Tonguetickling carbonation.
