Commercial Description:
Humlen tilsættes af to omgange.

English: Fur Porter is a top fermented beer of the Imperial Stout style. Dark mahogany color with a nut brown head which has a long durability and leaves nice lacings on the glass. Nice aroma of smoked malt and English licorice. Full malty flavor with an extra note of smoked malt and English licorice which ends in a fresh finish, even for this style. English inspired porter brewed with five different types of malt - smoked, caramel and chocolate malts amongst others - and two types of hops where one of them gives the beer its fresh note. The hops are added in two stages.

Bottle. Deep dark brown almost black colour with a nice big creamy well lasting light brown head. Sweet aroma of well roasted malts, liquorice, chocolate and hops. Flavour is fresh, quite sweet with nice roastiness, chocolate, mild liquorice, coffee and bitter hops. Tasty porter!

500ml bottle. Dark brown body topped by a fading brownish head. Great laceworks. Quite sweet aroma of chocolate mixed with coffee hints. Cocoa and dark chocolate flavour supported by hints of roasted grain and a bruch of tart fruits. A bit active carbonation for a porter. Short bitter end. Moderate, but nice mouthfeel. (Bottle) Pours dark, dark red. Medium, light brown head. Smokey, tary, roasted aroma with some unsweetened liquorice and coffee. Tiny hints of dry cocoa. Roasted flavour with smoke, coffee and liquorice. Some minerals and a tiny bit sour. Pretty small body but with a lingering smokeyness and some tar.

Draft at the cockney pub, Aarhus: Black with little browny/white head. Roasted malts, coffee & chocolate. Ok filling -far from thick though. Medium to Almost lively carbonation. Little hoppy/bitter bite in the end. OK pleasant!
