| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2008 The last of the three beers that my enabler brought back to me from Denmark.
Poured a beautiful amber-reddish colour, with nice off-white creamy head. Pleasant aroma. Taste was disappointing at first. A little bitter and not as complex as I would have liked, but the taste grew on me as I drank it, getting sweeter with every sip.
I quite liked this one. Ungstrup (15382), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 29, 2007 Bottled. A red-amber beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit, straw, caramel, and metal. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of alcohol, metal, fruit, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish, where the alcohol note carries thru and lingers for a long time. Too strong for a Steam Beer - and too simple thus making the alcohol more pronounced. Rastacouere (5563), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Comments: Easily drinkable, sweetish, simplistic caramelly ale with a vague tropical fruitiness. It seems beyond belief that this can be almost 8%. tarjei (1755), Bryne, Norway
