Bottle. Cloudy yellow, white foam. Citrus and banana aroma. Light body, banana with iron spikes, dust. Marzipan finish. Medium to light body, creamy and foamy mouthfeel. Comes together in the end.

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized white head. Rich spiced aroma with convenient banana notes, some safty-lemony note also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is more grainy in start with yeastiness, spices and banana coming up. Aftertaste is soft with some vanilla-banana and yeast. Good one.

0.5 l bottle from Beerangel. Hazy yellow color. The aromas of clove, pepper, smoke, lemon, banana and fruity tartness. Dry grainy flavor with clove, pepper, banana, lemon and vanilla. Highly carbonated with some yeasty astringency. Leaves surprisingly strong pepper flavor in mouth. Stylewise weizen on a dry side. I didn’t like the hard gassy palate but I could drink this again.

(Bottle at Timo A’s tasting, thanks) Yellow and hazy. Medium sized and quickly disappearing white head. Banana and fruitiness in aroma. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Malts, sweetness, fruitiness, banana, little bit of caramell, light bitternessa and some grass in taste. Fruity and malty aftertaste.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Hazy golden colour with big fluuffy/foamy head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is lots of banana, wheat, citrusfruits and some slight herbal and spicy notes as well. Flavour is wheat, some banana and mild herbal and yeasty notes. Aroma is just lovely, but flavour leaves a bit simple and even watery.

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 10/2009). Flip-top. Hazy yellow color, decent white head. Spicey, a bit sour, banana nose. Crispy carbonation. Wheaty, semi-sweet banana flavor with some spiceyness. Weak cardboard notes. Quite light palate. Refreshing, but a bit too simple.

Cloudy light orange, brief head. Sweet spicy hefe aroma, a touch sharp, almost sour. Subtle carbonation. Tingly hoppy body. Slightly yeasty taste, banana too, but a touch gluey. Rather uninspiring, but the hops are nice.

Cloudy and very Orange both in flavour and color. I like most Wallerstein beers but this was a huge disappointment. Watery and lacking most qualities of a true hefe weizen. Not sure what it was. One of the worst Germany made Hefes I ever had.
