The back label calls this a Dunkles Kellerbier. Interesting. Pours a hazy red/brown body with a darker off-white head that went away slowly. The nose is odd... dry dog food (coming from either yeast or grain or both) with some coffee as well. The taste is sweet, coffee, dog food again, crackers. Yeasty. Soft mouthfeel, drinkable. Ok but not my type of beer I guess. Interesting to try a sub style like this though.
