(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, dark amber golden with a dense, creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Thick aroma of yeast and banana. Medium body with sweetish malty accents, some citrus and banana and distinct yeast and sulphur. Decent but far from the best Weizen Bock. 040307

Bottle. Cloudy orange, big golden foam, rapid carbonation. Tropical aroma. Complex flavornotes - heather, citrus, coriander, applepeel, minerals. Fullbodied and warming, ending on a mild cognac note. Pineapples retronasal.

Bottle: Dark orangey coloured, lacing, quite stable, creamy head; robust sweet wheaty nose with, as usual, cloves and bananas backstage; medium to full bodied, soft MF, sweet flavour, not cloying; solid fruity (lemons, bananas), sweet and slightly alcoholic finish. A fine example of this rare style.........

(bottle) Cloudy, deep orange colour with a fluffy, off-white foamy head, leaving beautiful lacework. Sweet wheat-malty aroma with a well-accented, slightly sourish fruitiness (apricot, banana), notes of cloves in the background and non-disturbing traces of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour with a light sourish touch, medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Distinctive, hearty wheat-malty taste with a balanced fruit character; lasting, wheaty, yeasty fruity finish with delicate clovy spice. Very pleasant.
