So I’ll have to try another one at a later date and re-rate. Too bad. What I do remember thinking is that it was a fair, easy drinking Belgian that I can get for very little at a place very close.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a hazy dark golden color with about a appropriate sized white head. Aroma of yeast, bubblegum, spice and sweet biscuits. Taste is of clove, wheat malt, citrus zest and moderate hopping. The alcohol is somewhat noticeable, especially in the finish. Quite sweet overall, except for bitterness in the finish. Decent body, but a little out of balance. Not as good as I had hoped. bhensonb (4274), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2009 Bottle from allendodd. Thanks! Pours a lot amber with a decent fluffy white head. Interesting aroma - almost like nuts. Medium body with mild carbonation. Agree with the site; this is little like a wit; it’s standard Belgian ale. And a pretty nice one it is. I don’t usually get the "bubblegum" references, but this time it fits. Pretty spicey, pretty hoppy, pretty tastey. Coriander is noticeable. JCB (1765), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Hazy gold pour with a ton of sediment and a pretty sizable head. Crisp and light body for the most part, and it’s pleasant to roll around in the mouth. Aroma is a bit sharp, very intense grass and yeast backed by a bit of spice. The somewhat aggressive hops combine with that same yeasty sharpness for a flavor that’s a bit imbalanced to me. But it’s sweet enough to be enjoyable overall, and I’m glad to have tried this one. Trev (869), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Aroma is orange zest, lemongrass and corriander wheat tones combine with a candy like Belgian sweetness.
Flavour is nice medium sweet maltiness cut through with a tart balgian wit profile.
Alc is well blended showing just a hint before a dry finish. walrussell (114), , Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 5, 2009 12 oz. bottle purchased at Steve’s Liquor in Madison, WI. Hazy dull orange pour with a thick, creamy white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, wheat, and clove. Mostly good flavor; Belgian yeast, banana, and ginger. Something leaves a slightly bitter feeling on the palate that doesn’t do it for me. The aroma is better than the taste. A good beer but not as good as the aroma. 13mikey (147), New Hope, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2009 12oz bottle from Casanova. Poured with a thin white head, dark orange in color, cloudy. Strong yeast & wheat aromas with notes of spice in it. Thick mouthfeel with a very tangy yeasty flavor. Very full bodied for a wheat beer, lots of good stuff going on in this beer.
