Cask, Occasional;
One time Christmas ale which has proved so popular it is now produced all year round. Lots of fruit with a long dry finish.

Cask Handpump at the GBBF, Kensington Olympia 05/08/2005 Mid brown coloured and slightly strong in alcohol. Malty with a crisp lasting finish. Some dryness.

Cask. Deep chestnut color with a white head. The taste is a sweet, light and thin malty body. Rather thin palate.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is malty and roasted with slight hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet and very roasted, but again also slighlty smoked, leading to a long dry finish.

Cask (gravity dispense) at GBBF, August 2005. Mid brown colour. Herbal aroma, but I got some eggy sulphur too. Malty caramel on the palate, with some fruit, becoming reasonably dry. There’s also a yeasty note reminiscent of home brew. Not too impressed. Not in peak condition.

Mild roasty and lightly spicy, fruity aroma. Clear brown body is topped by decent and lasting off-white head. Lightly roasty, fruity, malt forward flavour with low roasty bitterness. Mostly sweet with lasting fruit in the aftertaste. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Cask sampled at GBBF 2005.
